Henstridge Airfield Fly-In

This April, with the long Covid-laden, feet-dragging winter finally behind us, I enjoyed a sense of escape when Kyle and I flew out from Dunkeswell to the Wessex Strut Fly-in at Henstridge Airfield in Somerset.

There were some familiar local aircraft parked up, including the ever-popular Royal Navy's Chipmunk and Harvard and the fascinating Westland Wasp helicopter. Many visitors were new to me including the fabulous Jurca Sirocco, that looks like its moving fast even when its parked on the field!

Made some new friends at the Fly-in and hope to get the opportunity to put some of their aircraft onto a canvas in the near future.
